Welcome to M.I.T.A. Homepage

Established in 2005, M.I.T.A has proven itself to be the undisputed leaders in the provision of Practical training to students in Hotoro and its environs. Our focus in producing graduands who can effectively use basic Computer Application packages. Though our training is basically designed around the Microsoft Office Suite,we are intensifying an integration of Open Source Office packages like the Open Office Suite.

We offer intensive training programmes which lead to Diplomas and Certificates in Data Processing, Desktop Publishing, Web site Design & maintenance and Hardware Installation and maintenance Our courses are designed in modules which are modeled after the ECDL/ICDL (European / International Computer Driving Licence) curriculum. With effect from next year, our students will begin taking the ECDL/ICDL certification examinations.

We have partnered with many Non Governmental Organizations and Schools in organizing Practical training programmes for youths around the community.

Currently, we have an ongoing Computer appreciation programme for students of the Government Secondary school in Hotoro area, plans have also been concluded for New Year training package for youths starting in February 2012. More details can be found on our news page.

Our mission is to offer qualitative computer skills to youths so as to make them self reliant andfunctionally effective in today's dynamically changing environment.
